I'm reading A Home at the End of the World now, thanks to Baihui. I love this book, it's the type where you have to read between the lines to figure out the intricacies of the relationships. It was made into a movie too.

It's a melancholy Sunday. This is perfect weather for some angsty poetry. I was just browsing through Fictionpress, and there are some really affecting poems. Haunted and riveted by them. Somehow, it made me remember Stanford and that sadness I felt when we walked out of HCI. Like Baihui said, there seems to be a hole in our hearts. Memories of us walking into HCI and taking the stupid long way before realising the shortcut, Jessica and her witty offhand remarks, irritating Evelyn with Avrilist remarks, the 2 days when Jamie and I sat in for Creative Writing and were told to write a bad sentence and we had to rack our brains and Jamie came up with this sadistic scenario, sitting with Audrie during Expos lessons and laughing with her. Having both old and new friends in the same place as you is a comforting thought. I miss writing essays!

In case anyone like Yanne thought I was being too optimistic about camp, I'm actually ambivalent. I cannot imagine sleeping for only 6 hours and waking up freezing in the morning. I still remember the time when valerie shouted weird sentences in the middle of the night and Mingyi and I were so frightened that we turned away. & we still have bloody testwork! They are taunting me, I know. I bid you guys farewell, spend the rest of your holiday fruitfully and start on homework if you haven't.
